Traditional Thai Wedding Ceremony

The action begins in the dressing room. Adorned in traditional costumes that are nothing short of exquisite, the bride and groom are now ready for the gracious wedding ritual to follow.

A dramatic drum procession accompanies the groom along the flower-strewn aisle at Sukko Cultural Spa & Wellness Resort. After which the ceremony of Rod Nam Sang has the bride and groom sitting side by side with two circles of connected holy white threads placed on their heads, symbolically joining them together in matrimony. Family and friends then let trinkle onto the couples’ hands holy water using a conch shell, impart their wishes for a life of eternal happiness in matrimonial bliss.
